Of Mice and Men

Depressing tale of two friends who just wanted a life of their own. They were migrant workers who could barely scrape by but they just wanted a piece of land to work on their own and be their own men. They loved each other and traveled as family. They had no one else. Poor Lennie just didn't understand and everything was stacked against him. George tried his best and really wanted to believe that they could make it to the land and have rabbits and not answer to anyone but themselves. Life is hard and Lennie just didn't work in it.
