The Expanse: Season 4

The season was interesting, but the story kind of ended up falling flat at the end. You have all this build up with Murtry's ambitions, the planet's parasites, the protomolecule and Miller's reveal that he's been being used by the protomolecule. But then it just all works out. He has found some "kill" switch, and gets attacked by some crazy metal monsters on the planet, but still manages to hit the switch and disable all of the protomolecule. Not to mention the slugs that were a deadly neurotoxin are somehow just gone after episode 7. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Then the storyline with the Belters causing terror attacks and working with Mars finally comes to a head, but ends on a large cliffhanger with Naomi's son and husband working to destroy earth with asteroids they've outfitted with Martian stealth tech. Also, poor Ashford. I think this messy storyline was a product of just trying to run with too many characters and plot points.
