This might have been a product of so much dislike that it made it better when actually watching, but overall this movie was fine. It was almost a scene for scene remake of the cartoon and it didn't really make any of it better but it was different. I can't say I'd really ever want to rewatch it but it wasn't awful. Awkwafina as Scuttle was actually entertaining.
