For All Mankind: Season 1
Exploring the possibilities that might exist if the global space race had continued and where humanity would be now. I have mixed feelings about this show. It was really high production value, and all the actors did a phenomenal job with their roles. Everything was well acted and portrayed. I wasn't a huge fan of throwing homosexuality into the mix, but maybe that was actually a concern back in the race to the moon days? This show was truly sci-fi though. The plots started off relatively believable, but then blurred into the ridiculous as they completed the season. I mean throwing a tank of fuel from the moon to an outside orbit craft? Then having them catch it after it drifts past them? Not to mention the fact that they could burst off with two crew attached via cables and only have a single minor injury? I guess he ended up dying from internal bleeding, but still. Anyway, the show was overall fine and likely will get its legs as they move into more of the "next frontier" style space race. We shall see.
