Notes
We went to the theatre to see this movie. First I really am at a point that I have a lot of trouble understanding movies that don't have subtitles. Secondly the audio for this movie was just odd. It was oddly quiet and thus made the theatre feel a little awkward as we were sitting there. As far as a review of the actual movie: it's a Part 1 which means it's hard to evaluate the story itself in full. It's only half of it. But the half that we got was really convoluted and didn't make a whole lot of sense. Miles some how was a glitch that was causing multi-dimensional issues, and so Miguel's solution was to trap him in his timeline? But why doesn't this cause issues with Miguel's timeline? Why can he have a timeline filled with 1000's of Spider-poeple with no issue, but Miles somehow is causing the implosion of multiple universes? It just doesn't add up. Visually the movie was just as good as the first, but not as punchy since it's the second installment. I liked the movie, but just not quite as much as the first.
Description
After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters the Spider Society, a team of Spider-People charged with protecting the Multiverse's very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must set out on his own to save those he loves most.
