Shift

I go back and forth on this book. I kind of want to give it 3-stars but I think I'll stick with 4 (edit: changed my mind to 3-stars) just because it does move the story along and helps to bridge the gap between before the world ended and where Juliette's story will continue. But this book did drag a lot at the end. I found myself skipping Solo's chapters so I could find out what was happening with what I really cared about, Donald in Silo 1. I'm not sorry I read the book. It sort of makes sense and it's good to have the back story fleshed out I guess. But I agree that these people were megalomaniacs and I definitely found all the stories in this book depressing.
