This ended up being a bit darker than I expected at the end. Overall the show was entertaining, and it valued friendship and camaraderie. But the writing took a turn for the worse at the end. It was almost like they just needed to finish the show so they rushed through the last bits. It didn't make much sense. Wednesday had "friends", but she was never kind to them. Why did they even come to her defense and sacrifice themselves for her? Also the terrible enemy at the end has this staff that can deflect anything yet he chooses to sword fight with Wednesday? Eh…
